There is an early 14th century church, St. Mary's, in Chalgrove - the walls of the chancel depict the history of Mary and Jesus including the Assumption and a Jesse tree. Chalgrove was also listed in the Domesday book and anyone interested in history will find much to see and discover in the village. Chalgrove is about 8 miles south east of Oxford.
