 Blairgowrie
is a town in Perthshire, with many original stone houses, in a picturesque
setting, surrounded by hills. The River Ericht flows briskly through
it, diving it from Rattray across the river.
During the warm summers, visitors, walk the paths and hills, fish, enjoy traditional Scottish fare, especially raspberries for which the area is famed, a dram at the local pub, and a chat with the locals. Bicycles can be hired to explore the country roads.
